Hi Gemma, thanks for your time during this busy time. Tell us a little about yourself?

I lived between Australia and New Zealand most of my life, I travelled a lot in the past 7 years and I think it was the best thing I ever did, II live in America now, Iv been here 3 years on and off but been permanently living here for 20 months, I’m a model Full time but hoping to move into Film in 2012.

What would you say the best feature about yourself is?

Hah umm I don’t know what do you think my best feature is? If I had to say anything id say loyalty to anybody until they prove me wrong and I have a good heart thanks to my parents, they taught me a lot.

Tell us the story behind how you entered the modeling world?

I was 17 and asked to shoot for a Men’s Lifestyle magazine called Ralph magazine and I shot for them when I was 18 and it all went uphill from there, I’d never wanted to ever do modeling. I grew up in a small town and worked at a prison and at a travel agents… haha it totally spun my life into a whirlwind for the best I got to travel the world and see things and meet people from all over the show.

Is being part of the Street League Dime Squad your first position you had when moving to the United States?

No I actually worked for Dream Girls lingerie they’re one of the biggest lingerie companies in America. I was so lucky to get that and I still shoot for them. They opened a lot of doors for me :) I got the Dime Squad gig this year through Monster Energy. It’s been a crazy year!

What’s the best part about being a dime’s girl?

The parties… your surrounded by a million guys so it’s a nice perv as well hah! And just being apart of a great competition. The best part is they give the skate parks they build to each city after we leave so the kids have a tight park to skate at.. Rob Dydrek is fucking cool! He defiantly made his own luck.

Moving from Australia to the America and being part of one of the world’s biggest skate events, what are your goals in life regarding your career?

Yeah it was a big move and if anyone thinks it was easy, it wasn’t… haha. But I’m good now and doing well in my career. I don’t think I will keep modeling as my full time job next year. I never wanted to do it… but I’ve been lucky and its been fun. I’m not really the model type… I’ve always been loud and outgoing and wanted to be on TV so I’m gonna try bust out in the movie industry next year… Wish me luck

That’s awesome! Good Luck definitely! What would you say you specialize in as a model?

Lingerie and swimwear

Explain to us the feeling you get when you’re in front of the camera?

I get so excited! I’m such an attention hogger haha… And then I see my self when it comes out and I’m like fuck I’m a retard!! I’m getting a voice coach to tone me down a bit. I get kinda carried away :p

HAHA! To date, what are your most memorable projects you’ve been apart of?

Street league, Harlem Shoots (which got me my FHM cover) my model tour around Asia, working with monster, my tv show in NZ… There’s so many to write but every thing I’v done is memorable.

What kind of companies do you have eyed out for?

Oh God! I’d love to do Guess, Sports illustrated and GQ magazine. But i want to land a breakout role in Film or Television next year.

How do you like living in the US comparing to OZ?

I miss Australia. I’ll always go back and visit, but I love America. My life is all here now.

What do you do for fun?

Drink copious amounts of vodka.. durrr

Haha… Of course! Where would we find you on a Saturday night?

Probably having girls nights.. believe me, these nights are not as attractive as they sound..

What’s one thing you’d love to do but have never done it before?

Paint the Hollywood sign Pink.

Any last words?

Peace out

The end :)
